Day after Day

People tell other people the dates of parties or special events. However, they dona€™t always say on which day of the week the party or event is taking place. You can use a calendar to find out which day of the week a date falls on. To find the day of the week, you find the date on the calendar and see which column it is in. For example, if you look at the calendar on this screen, you will see that April 6 is a Sunday.

You can also find out which day of the week a date falls on without a calendar. If you know that April 6 is a Sunday, one week later - April 13 - will be a Sunday also.

Do you need to know what day of the week it will be nine days after Tuesday? You know that in seven days it will be Tuesday again. Wednesday is the eighth day and Thursday is the ninth day. So nine days after Tuesday will be Thursday.
